The Future of Healthcare: a speculative fiction and world-building workshop with Hanna Thomas Uose
Time & Location
18 May 2025, 14:00 – 16:00
The Scarlett Letters Bookshop, 140 Cambridge Heath Rd, Bethnal Green, London E1 5QJ, UK
About the event
Join us for a workshop at The Scarlett Letters bookshop with Hanna Thomas Uose, author of Who Wants to Live Forever!
This workshop is suitable for writers of all levels – total beginners and those with a regular writing practice. Together, we will imagine the healthcare system that we deserve and write our way towards it. By the end, participants will have gained an insight into speculative fiction, learned an accessible approach to world-building and have a seed of a new story to explore. We won’t fix the NHS in two hours but we will build the muscle to imagine something better. The horrors persist and so do we.
Sharing will be encouraged but won’t be at all mandatory! Please bring a pen and notebook!
