About the event
Bring your laptop or your notebook and enjoy some group writing time! Develop your work in progress, connect with other writers, and get closer to your writing goals in a welcoming environment. Come along once or join us every month.
Our writers' gym will be hosted by Billy, one of The Scarlett Letters’ booksellers, who is also a professional fiction editor and published writer. They will be on-hand throughout to give feedback and encouragement to anyone who wants it!
Event outline:
1:30pm group arrival, tea and biscuits
1:45pm short introduction from Billy to explore that week's optional prompt and set our intentions for the hour
2-3pm: one hour of solo writing time
3pm: optional sharing and feedback
3.30pm onwards: a chance to mingle with the other writers
