About the event
The Feminist Anti-War Resistance Movement invites you to share your spoken word in any language of your choice, sing, play musical instruments and exhibit art pieces at The Scarlett Letters bookshop.
We hope that performing and co-creating in this trans inclusive, run by activists space will help you process, live, grieve and celebrate your queerness, feminism and activism!
If you don’t want to perform, we will have spaces where you can engage in crafts, write letters to political prisoners or just support those who choose to share their feelings on stage.
We will also be collecting donations for Queer Svit, a black queer-run charity that helps LGBTQ+ and BAME from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus and other EECA countries whose lives have been affected by war and/or political repression get to safety by providing consultations, purchasing tickets, finding free accommodation and providing humanitarian aid.
